Important Information Regarding the No Surprises Act
Effective January 1, 2022, the federal No Surprises Act established new protections against unexpected medical bills.
These regulations apply specifically to patients who are self-paying for services (i.e., not using health insurance benefits for treatment at our practice). Under this law, healthcare providers are required to make specific disclosure forms available and distribute them to eligible patients. These documents outline your right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" predicting the cost of your care.
If you have questions regarding these forms or wish to clarify how these regulations apply to your specific care plan, please contact our administrative office or speak directly with your therapist.
For comprehensive information regarding the federal legislation, please review the disclosure documents provided below or visit the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) website at https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
