I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) (LCSW) and (LCSW-C) currently practicing in Washington D.C, Maryland and Northern Virginia. I provide a variety of clinical services that will meet your needs. I am dedicated to helping you work through any conflicts and challenges you may be experiencing in your personal and professional relationships. I have been providing clinical social work services for the past 20 years and have experience working in a variety of settings and with a diverse population. I have provided groups, couples, individual and family therapy, as well as management consultations, clinical supervision, and wellness presentations. I have received advanced training from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy, Schema Therapy Institute, Nero-Linguistic Programming Center in New York, American Society for Clinical Hypnosis, Taming the Anxiety Toolbox Training Program, Russ Harris, Medical University of South Carolina CPT program and the Jewish Social Service Agency Adult Psychotherapy Program.
My approach is collaborative. We will work as a team to identify your goals and treatment objectives. The therapeutic technique that I commonly use is a CBT, mindful, which has been proven to be extremely effective in treating depression, anxiety and trauma. However, I also use an eclectic approach and integrate other effective techniques during the therapeutic process. We also may work on communication skills, processing feelings, and dealing with past experiences.
